All beauty products are created to work best for specific skin types. Before you can select which products to use, you have to know first your skin type. How you benefit from a certain product will depend on this. To determine your skin type, try this simple test.

Wash your face as you normally would, and pat-dry with towel. After fifteen minutes, press a blotting paper on different parts of your face. The paper will stick in those areas where you produce a lot of oil.

If it doesn’t stick anywhere, you have dry skin. If it only sticks on your forehead, nose and chin, you have normal or combination skin. If it sticks everywhere, you have oily skin.
