Most women experience a zit. What’s very frustrating about it is that it appears when we have a special occasion to go to and we would want it to dry as quickly as possible. But most often than not we end up pricking the pimple and the effect worsens. The redness is noticeable than before and before we know it, it slowly spreads from one acne to another.

Our skin is more than just the first thing people see. It is also our body’s defense against germs and the environment and a reflection of who we are. Treating our skin right should be part of our daily routine. Keeping it healthy and looking great gives us more confidence and allows the true aura to shine through.

Their a new product called Differin® Gel 0.1% by galderma is a topical retinoid provides greater flexibility for customizing care and improving outcomes for acne. It is a naphthoic acid derivative with retinoid-like activities. It normalizes the differentiation of a type of skin cell linked to acne, resulting in fewer non-inflammatory and inflammatory lesions. It absorbs into our skin and it begins to normalize the skin cells that clog pores. Acne marks are avoided by using this, for it dries it up you have and prevent pores from becoming clogged in the first place. It is the only class of drugs proven to treat those blemishes that are present and prevent the formation of new ones.

To use this product it is advised right before bedtime. Gently cleanse the entire face with a mild non-soap cleanser then rinse with warm water. Gently pat skin dry with a soft towel then squeeze a pea-sized amount of Differin® Product on your finger. Dot it on your forehead, cheeks and chin. Spread evenly over the entire face, avoiding the areas around your eyes and lips. If you’re tempted to use more than a dot, thinking it will work faster and better on your acne, don’t! It will be more likely to get irritated. Follow the doctor’s instructions and the box instructions; they know better!
